Situated in a large warehouse at the end of a one-way street, I paid a return visit to the new premises for Black Lodge on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Unlike my previous visit in October, 2019, service has now moved outdoors. I assume the indoor bars are still in place. But with the threat of Covid still hanging over everyone, staff had set up shop in 2 outdoor kiosks. One was serving food, whilst the other had a range of Black Lodge craft beers.

Beers on were All Gates are Open (which soon ran out), Start The Parade, No Condition Is Permanent, Me You and The Devil, Some Good Frequencies, Guns Cars & Sitars & I Know Karate, Voodoo Too. They were all available in halves. So, I'm not sure if this is a change since the last review.

Toilets are still in portocabins at the rear, next to a large event space that soon became occupied by an anti-racism festival gathering.

Certainly a decent brewery bar. But a cask beer and/or a dark beer would have been nice. Hopefully the indoor seating will re-open again soon.

This definitely has that brewery tap vibe with its industrial estate feel and rickety tables. Load of outdoor seating, tiny QR codes on the tables for ordering, and bizarrely measures are only available in 1/3 and 2/3 of a pint, no half or full pint measures. There is a bar indoors, along with more seating, but that was dead and everyone was sat outside on my Saturday evening visit. There was a portacabin style hut outside which seemed to be doing food, but I think is also where the beer was arriving from rather than the indoor bar.

All keg (no cask) - I didn't count but I'd say probably 8 different beers available from memory. Enough variety to tempt us into staying for a couple before moving on.
