Old Boots left this review about Charles Henry Roe, (JD Wetherspoon)

Housed in an undisguinished Victorian building it’s a biggish and busy spoons. The counter is to the right and extends almost the depth of the building. Usual set up with two banks of six topped and tailed by T-Bars, usual tosh from Greene King plus a couple from Fuggle Bunny and Oakham JHB, unexciting and average I found. Hard flooring around the counter, carpet with a bus wheel motif elsewhere; Charles Henry Roe made buses hereabouts. High seating on the hard floor, lower tables and chairs on the carpet as per the company playbook. Usual spoons punters but there seemed to be more pushchairs than normal on a Friday afternoon. Beer garden at back, toilets upstairs at back.
