Malden man left this review about Bull Ring NW
This is a new venture, as stated below run by the people who have the Salthouse NW over the road. A small place which might have qualified as a micropub apart from not selling cask beer. A set of three fonts on the bar offered Mahou, Brooklyn Lager plus something Italian I've forgotten while fridges contain cans and bottles with beers on offer from Mobberley, Shindigger and Weetwood plus ciders and various wine choices. There are also a range of locally distilled "craft" gins.
The single room is split level with the bar along a side wall in the front bit with a drinking ledge opposite.
Up a step to the rear there are a few high stools and a large circular table of conventional height. Shelving units contain random stuff including a handpump and soda syphons, there are opaque glass block windows and the suspended ceiling is matt black.
It is certainly different, I expected a few craft keg taps along the bar back as is the common style but apart from the euro style fizz the interesting stuff comes pre-packaged. Time will tell if this is a fit for the area but I wish them well.
