Blue Scrumpy left this review about The OPO Bar
Our first stop in the village of Ingleton was the Old Post Office, a micropub where its former use can probably be guessed. There are 2 small rooms, with the bar itself at the front and a gaming room at the rear. Children are only allowed in the front room apparently due to sexual themes that may cause offence in the rear room. My son had been amused by the "Perfect Hostess" picture in the gents toilets at the Hill Inn (our previous pub) showing a lady partly bearing her bottom and with her knickers somewhere near her ankles. So, he may actually have appreciated this room.
The solitary real ale was Wensleydale Lost Weekend, which I'd had earlier in the day in Askrigg. So, I opted for a cider from bag-in-the-boxes in a fridge adjacent to the bar. These contained Seacider Medium Dry & Lilley's Rum Cider & Bee Sting Perry. We later noticed a box of Seacider Honeycomb Cider in a box on top of the fridge. Bar staff did say that they had more boxes out the back, as there was no more room in the fridge!
Probably the best pub in Ingleton.
