Paid another visit on Saturday night and just wanted to add that I did on this occasion spot a solitary hand pull for cask ale hiding behind some plastic foliage at one end of the bar. The cask offering was Track Sonoma. 11 keg taps with various beers ranging from between 4.2% and 11% ABV. The Frontier Psychiatrist (7% ABV) that I went for and the Lopez (4.8% ABV) that my drinking accomplice selected were both decent drinks.

The ping pong table I mentioned on my pervious review has gone, allowing room for more long bench type seating. There was a small food stall in the corner selling nachos, which seemed to be going down quite well with the crowd that was in there on Saturday.

There is only one toilet so a queue can form at times but it didn't seem to be causing any problems.

As has been noted previously, the bar is card only.

Very hard to find if coming down the road from Cask. It doesn't help if there's a Transit van parked across the entrance and the A board either. Having climbed up 3 floors to get to a tatty room I was disappointed to find that there was no cask ale available. Not for the last 2 weeks said the barmaid. There's lots of hanging wiring and flaking paint on the walls. I'll leave this one to the hipsters.

I visited yesterday and there was no sign of the two hand pumps mentioned on WhatPub and Real Ale Ray's review. They weren't just blank, they had gone completely! Eight keg options remained, some from Track and some from other breweries (Buxton had a couple on for example).

It's a nice big open space, has a ping pong table, everyone just having a nice time and it felt fairly chilled.

Track Brewing recently moved here from the railway arches near Piccadilly Railway Station. Track has reached an agreement with the developers of the Crusader Mill, to use the top floor of the old mill for the foreseeable future. Once you have made it up the stairs to the third floor, you enter a reasonable sized space with a pop up bar at the far end along with long wooden bench seating.
The bar had a range of eight craft beers and two cask on handpump and 99% of their beers are vegan. We went for the Sonoma cask, which was excellent so we stayed for a couple more. The clientele on our visit ranged from groups of students, builders off the site next door and suits. The bar only takes plastic and the prices were reasonable.
