Real Ale Ray left this review about Sawley Junction

A well supported micropub with a mix of age groups and the main theme for this micro is the railways, obviously being so close to the railway station. Seven ales to choose from on our visit and four craft. The ales were on stillage served from the rear cold room. My Halland Oatmeal Stout was superb, £4 a pint for a 4.9%. There's a snack menu with Pork Pies, Scotch Eggs, Cheeseboard and Cheese toasty.

Situated adjacent to Long Eaton railway station the Sawley Junction opened late last year and is a friendly family run micropub that was originally a bank and in later life a newsagents. This is a one roomed bar with ample seating and just enough railway memorabilia present without going overboard. There were 5 gravity beers on offer from the Magpie,Muirhouse,Milton,Littleover and Acorn breweries plus 8 ciders to go at.A board over the bar displayed the beers that were on and another one showing the next batch to arrive. Worth a visit.
