Old Boots left this review about FHB

reopened under new management and renamed FHB which is an abbreviation of "Fashion House Bistro". It is a cafe bar and casual drinkers are welcome. Much the same as before in layout and furnishings but the decor is now the work of the owner who is a fashion photographer. Six keg lines with a cider, Guinness and four multi-national lagers; bottles and cans are also available including a selection from local favourites Roosters.

Old Boots left this review about Corner Haus

Located under an hotel this is a bar specialising in Belgian beers both draught and bottled. In spite of the basement setting it's quite light and spacious with a selection of seating forming distinct areas. There are six keg taps on the barback serving mainly Belgian beers with Thornbridge Jaipur a regular and the occasional German beer to ring the changes. A large fridge has a selection of the better known Belgian bottles including most of the abbey beers.
