Real Ale Ray left this review about Manor Court Ale House

A former newsagents now micropub, which is owned by Johnny, who owns Johnny's Ale House in Burslem. Johnny's aim is to open a further eight micros, according to a newspaper cutting from the local paper, which was in a frame opposite the bar. The interior in here was a bit drab for me and looked cheaply finished, the colour scheme along with the brick and stone effect wallpaper really put me off. However the beer and the welcome from the friendly and chatty barman did score this place an extra couple of points. Three ales on handpump, Facers Brewery Sunny, Dancing Duck Aye Up and Wantsum Yellow Wagtail. We went for the Facers and the Dancing Duck both were in good condition. The other downside here was that the pub was cold, inspite of there being some wall mounted convection heaters, which weren't making much of an impact.
