Quinno _ left this review about Penlon at the Beach

This is an upstairs bar above a shop (enter via a side door), operated by the local Penlon brewery. It’s a fairly drab white room with bench seating; the lovely views across the quay and coast from the outside terrace is the place to be. Two cask and a myriad of bottles marked-up on a board (though at least one was off and not marked as so - how easy is it to strike through with chalk?). I tried Mischief and Howler on cask, both apparently unfined (though not labelled as such on the pumps - had to ask as they came out pretty murky). Sadly, both were insipid, soapy brews with no real brew quality and neither were GBG condition. Also a pretty expensive round too, just to rub it in. Disappointing all round, bar the view.
