Moby Duck left this review about Double-Barrelled Brewery Tap

A taproom for the brewery set in an industrial estate to the West of Reading but easy to get to by bus, getting off at the Calcot Junction stop,It takes about 10 minutes or so from The Nags Head.Housed in a large warehouse unit there is plenty of drinking space inside with basic tables and chairs, more seating outside where most people were sitting on my visit on an unseasonably warm and spring like February afternoon. There were 12 different beers on, all keg, including some collaborations and guest beers, available from the tap wall behind the bar, four of which I tried, a pale, a sour, a Stout and a Porter, all were exceptionally good. Being housed in an industrial unit there is obviously no pub atmosphere but this is more than made up for by the quality of the beer.
