Blue Scrumpy left this review about Thirst Edition

One of 2 Shipston pubs in the latest Good Beer Guide, this one is a micropub and an excellent one at that.

The owner was very smart, helpful and welcoming. Local customers were friendly, chatty and humorous. The layout is similar to most other micropubs with a single room, a unisex toilet to the rear and bench seating on the pavement to the front.

5 real ales were on for our Wednesday evening visit - Buntingford Hurricane, 360° Bluebell, Rooster's Buckeye, Brew York Maris The Otter & Wold Top Marmalade Porter. The cider selection was extensive, but with so many boxes and pumpclips all over the place, it was a little confusing. I eventually concluded that the range was Farmer Jim's Mango Cider, Broadoak Bristol Port & Sloe Gin Cider, Abrahall's Slack Alice, Lilley's Raspberry Mojito Cider, Fire Dancer, Rhubarb Cider, Mango Cider, Bee Sting Perry & Somerset Scrumpy Dry, Seacider Hardcore, Heck's Slack-Ma-Girdle, Healey's Flattler, Pulp Sloe Gin Cider, Weston's Old Rosie & Thistly Cross Whisky Cask.

Children are not allowed, but this was easily my favourite pub of the day and a fitting way to end our crawl of some Warwickshire hostelries.
