ROB Camra left this review about Yard & Coop

Mainly a chicken restaurant, but they're certainly happy for you to just have a drink whilst sat at the bar. In fact there were several of us doing just that. There's still no real ale, but a few keg options. I'd had a long day out and was just killing 15 minutes until I could get my train. I had a half of San Miguel which was £2.25. Not bad for these kind of places. I've been now though, so I don't need to go back.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Yard & Coop

One of many bar / eateries hidden away in the Northern Quarter backstreets. This one claims to be the "home of the buttermilk fried chicken" but does have a some general seating around the counter. Modern furniture and decor throughout. Too trendy for real ale of course, but there is a selection of less usual craft offerings from the keg taps, including the Cloudwater Pale Citra El Dorado (£2.75, half, and the 'cheapest' of the lot).
