The Weavers Tap is a large pub with a long bar counter up the left wall and open plan seating to the right that is broken up by a few exposed brick and white tiled supporting columns. At the front of the pub is a dartboard and televisions are located throughout for showing all things sport. The World Darts Championship was on during a recent Sunday afternoon visit. The pub was quiet when I arrived, but started to fill up with young families looking for food. The burgers are mostly priced under £10. The two hand pumps on the bar were drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar and Wadworth’s 6X. Standard and premium keg was also available, but the barmaid informed us that the four tap Beavertown unit was being removed so was no longer available. This place is OK for watching sport, but the service was exceptionally slow. If I was on my own I would have walked out.

Trendy "crafty" type of place with no real ale on when I called. Left me with a choice of Beavertown Neck Oil or Gamma ray. Not for me really!
