A bit of an oddity, this one. We called for a coffee as we were passing this way. It's quite big inside, several rooms and a bar, and there's a nice garden to the left of the main building, an accommodation block to the right. It seems to be barely operational, opening only Friday to Sunday and shutting at 5pm. We were the only punters at 11am on a summer Saturday.
It calls itself a tearoom, however the bar is fully functional but alas the two handpumps were unclipped. I suspect they haven't seen service in a while.
If you're out walking or cycling it would make a pleasant place to rest your weary limbs for an hour, but don't book accommodation expecting to be fed and watered.
