Called in here at the end of June which must have been just before it closed. Bar is as you enter from the front, but through a bit of a maze if you're coming from Sunbridge Wells itself. A few old soaks trying to chat up a statuesque blonde barmaid on my Friday, late afternoon visit. Only 2 beers available were both Saltaire and to be honest, by then I really didn't want anymore of their beers, so I left it.

This doesn't look like the kind of place that would do real ale, but I was pleased to discover that it does so I decided to pay a visit on that basis. It looks quite small from the outside and the bar is almost right by the front window, but then it opens up and goes further back where there is a fair amount of seating. There is a mix of seating and flooring, giving a rather rustic look. Quiet, as perhaps would be expected around 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon, but there were a couple of people in before me chatting at the bar, and another couple followed after.
The cask options were Mary Jane by Ilkley, Blonde by Saltaire, and Blonde by Bridgehouse. I went for the Bridgehouse Blonde at £1.60 a half, and this was rather pleasant and probably the best of the three options.
It's a nice enough bar and probably better experienced of an evening or weekend when it would be a bit busier. There was a chalk board up listing upcoming events.

Reading the plans for the property in the Telegraph and Argus: The building was a hairdressers and has been vacant since 2014. The building is a bar and eatery on two levels, a craft ale bar on the lower floor and a rum cocktail bar on the upper floor, and will be connected to the Rose and Crown in Sunbridge Wells - one of the oldest pubs in Bradford. This is the fifth entrance to the Sunbridge Wells complex.
