Real Ale Ray left this review about Vinehop

Described as a wine bar/bottle shop/ micropub. This premises was previously a butchers shop and still retains the tiled front and tiled door entrance at the front. The interior consisted of one good sized front room, with the bar area situated on the right hand side towards the back. There was also a small room near the back door, which had a few high tables and chairs. The pub was very busy on our Friday evening visit, so seating space was limited, but we managed to get a couple of seats near the back. Disappointingly this place only had craft beers served on tap. The choices were ok, but were all overpriced, we paid £4.50 for two halves, which was Red Willow Mosiac Citra and Gipsy Hill Beatnik Pale Ale. They also had Cloudwater beers on priced at £6 a pint. The majority of the drinkers on our visit were drinking wine and various gin concoctions and the clientele were mostly young professionals. Ordering at the bar was slightly different as one person took your drinks order and served your drinks, whilst another person took payment at the till, so I don't know what that was all about. There was timber frame shelving down the left hand wall, where you can purchase a good selection of wine and bottled beers.
