Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Union Ludgate
Fair-sized bar / restaurant with the usual modern, almost canteen-style furniture and semi-industrial decor typical of this small chain. A good two-thirds of tapered interior is set aside for those dining, but there is still a reasonable amount of general seating near the counter. Being set back from the road by some distance, it also benefits from an array of bright-red tables out front for the better weather. Beer-wise, just Doom Bar (£4.80) from the solitary handpump, and nothing that interesting from the 12 keg taps either.
