Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Wheelie Thirsty

Fixed Wheel micro-pub, with light wooden furniture and decoration comprising some modern prints rather than the expected breweriana. Four handpumps, with three of the brewery's own real ales - Through and Off session IPA (£3.20), The Black Cyclone coffee milk stout and Mellow Johnny, plus Oakham Citra as a guest. Also has four craft keg beers, with a couple from Wild Card and one from Burning Soul and its own Saline Drip.

This micropub was that good we ended up staying for a good couple of hours. The landlord Steve was a very interesting chap and had been in the pub trade for a good few years, running the Joint Stock behind the Welly in central Birmingham at one point. Four pumps, serving Four Fixed Wheel beers, which were Wheelie Hazy, Mr 60, King Kelly and Wheelie Pale. We went through them all and one was as good as the other. The King Kelly stout was outstanding and one the best stouts I have ever had. This is definitely a destination pub and am already looking forward to another visit.

This is a fairly typical brewery micropub that looks like it could become a small chain with the imminent opening of the Old Hill outlet. It's a small rectangular room with chunky wooden tables and chairs, a small servery at the rear right and cycling themed posters on the walls. There is a chill cabinet to the rear left with a few boxes of cider, bottles and cans. They have a limited choice of gins and keg options some from Fixed Wheel. The landlady had rigged up some music to play from a laptop behind the bar but this wasn't loud and was quite unobtrusive.
I got here at midday on a Saturday when I was the only punter for a while. The four hand pumps had Fixed Wheel offerings, Wheelie Pale, Wheelie Hazy, Sheriff and Blackheath Stout. I went for the Blackheath Stout (£3.50) which was in great nick but got a bit heavy after a few pints so had the Sheriff (£3.30). I'd tried this the day before in Stourbridge. Although in good nick it's an attempt to include white grape juice with a pale ale; it certainly wasn't unpleasant but I've had much better from this brewery.
I didn't rate this one as highly as the previous review but it's a decent micropub and I don't have anything bad to say about it.

Good little micropub with a range of Fixed Wheel beers including Mr. 60, Through And Off, Lady In A Hat and Mild Concussion. The 2 we tried were excellent. Snacks on the bar and cobs for sale - what's not to like? Well worth a visit.
