Reached down a steep, sloping alley from Church Street, then up a few steps into the club itself, it’s a single room with the counter to one side and big windows giving an unrivalled harbour view on the other. The patio, reached via a door at the end of the counter, also has cracking views. Only one cask beer, a fair to middling Copper Dragon plus two T-bars of national kegs. Typical club decor, a big telly at each end, cases of trophys, a dart board and simple seating. Toilets are in a corridor leading off the entrance stairs.

Down quite a steep alley, then up two sets of steps to the one room. Bar to the right side. One weak hand pump, the rest keg. Loads of TVs.

Although this is a club it has a public bar so deserves to be on the site. I was made to feel welcome when I visited and I had a decent pint of Cook 250 from Whitby brewery.
