Real Ale Ray left this review about Martinez Wine Bar
A two roomed venture with a wine shop and tasting room on the right of entrance and a similar size room on the left. The wine bar side was nicely kitted out with a bar situated along the rear wall. This comprised of a black granite counter and the bar front made up from wine box lids, plus a row of copper hanging lamps over the counter. The flooring was the original oak parquet and lighting was a collection of pendant lamps, which were made from wine bottles which had the ends cut off to be used as lampshades. The seating was low tables, with patterned tiled tops and wooden chairs, also some of the walls were left as exposed brick. Two handpumps on our visit, Chinook Blonde and Chinook bitter. Prices were a bit steep, but the beer was in good shape.
