Brainy Pool left this review about Beer Heroes

Small but well-formed tunnel style beer bar in the city centre, keg only I think. Some old school “oi oi” style punk was playing with some very choice language, it just helped me warm to the place though. It had lots of charm, card games on the tables, lots of beery reading matter. Glad i had a quick look.

Craft keg only with 12 to choose from. Varying styles and prices. We went for the Polly's Who Knew? - a 6.6% hazy IPA - which was superb.

Claims to have Wi-Fi but we couldn't connect to it, not that I was too bothered but mobile signal was pretty much non existent so could be inconvenient to some.

Old beer badges are for sale for 50p to charity. Dog friendly. Not much more to add, but if you like diving into the world of craft keg then this place is one to seek out in Chester.

Old Boots left this review about Beer Heroes

Formed of two parallel brick barrel vaults with a rectangular space to the front. The right hand vault is a bottle shop known as the Beer Cave, while the left hand is a seating space with a mix of furnishings. The front area has a counter to the right, draught beers are served from two bar mounted key keg dispense boxes, the left side has more seating in varied form. There are 12 draught beers sold. The floral decorations on the tables are in Orval bottles - a nice touch. Limited decor of neat wall drawings and some foreign beer ads. Card payment only. There is a small unisex toilet at the end of the right hand vault.

Brand new craft beer place. Set down a couple of steps this has the look of a cellar bar as it has 2 rooms set within cellar-like areas. There are 12 taps in three banks of 4. A large selection of bottled and canned beers are also available. As its all craft beer the prices are on the steep side. I don't mind craft beer but baulk at the usually stupid prices they charge for it and here is no exception. That said, if you're into craft ales and have more money than sense then this is for you. I didn't mind it but the prices make it a place to visit to have just the one.
