Kind of a micropub but a bit more hip(ster) than the usual micro offering, with ‘craft beer’ Dulux chart blue walls, modish plank flooring and irritating high level seating. Six pumps with five on, 2x Wiper and True, BBF Russian Hill (NBSS 3.5), Cloudwater Stout (3) and one from Fyne. Five keg and cider plus, somewhat unusually, an impressive range of wine. Friendly barman in situ added a bit of ambience to what would have otherwise been a fairly quiet Sunday late afternoon pint. Nice place (bar the seating!) and worth finding. 7.5

Micropub in a shop unit, fitted with custom made tall wooden tables and benches and decorated with a few prints and lots of beermats. A bank of 6 handpumps with 4 in use at time of visit, serving Electric Bear Inspector Remorse, Bristol Milk Stout, Ilkley Joshua Jane and Beatniks Republic 2am Poets, which is an interesting selection to say the least. Condition seemed good though. Various craft beers and a couple of real ciders also available.
