Rex Rattus left this review about Bottle Bar & Shop
This is a sort of off licence where you can buy a drink to consume on the premises. It seems that there are a couple of fridges from which you can select your can or bottle (no draught), take it to the bar where they take your money and give you a poncy bowl-like glass to drink it out of. My 33cl bottle of 5.2% Brockley Brewery IPA was £3.80. Some of the bottles in the fridges were £20 - £25; God knows what was in them.
Even though this is essentially for off sales, the room is not that small - I have been in smaller micro-pubs - with tall tables bolted to the right hand wall, a tall table by the front window, all with tall stools of course, and basic metal-framed tables and hard chairs. It all looks a bit cheap (unlike the drinks), but I bet it wasn't cheap to fit out the room. But it's clearly intended to entice customers to drink in.
I dropped in here on a whim as I was passing - I didn't know it was here. I expect it to be a one-off visit.
