When I first came across this place some eight years ago it was closed and up for sale. The only other pub open in the street then was Casey's bar opposite. Now the roles are reversed. I was amazed to see the difference inside the Revenue. The beer selection is pretty good too.
I don't come to Devonport as much as I used to, but this is definitely the place to go.

This is a very old pub, which has been brought back to life by the new owner and landlord Vince Ballard, a music theme has been adoppted and works very well, with bands every Saturday night, and of course a very well kept cellar so the beer is in top condition, with a no nonsence from idiots policey the pub is on the up, with a full sized Elvis, and lots of pictures the pub is a welcomeing place to have a pint or three, with two very good darts teams the pub is being put back on the map.
