Modern and blandly decorated cream and mushroom interior over two rooms either side of the bar. A single cask pump in the rear room (no PoS in the front bar!) dispensing a workaday Lancaster Amber (NBSS 2.5). Also spotted on keg was Pardal lager, a new one on me. Clientele almost all old boys in the rear bar watching the gee-gees and clutching their Racking Posts; to be fair it was a decent atmosphere. The front bar remained empty throughout my stay, so there’s a clear preference amongst the locals for the more agreeable rear room.
