Aberdare has been crying out for this place for at least three decades: a dedicated music venue. It's a bar and function room as well, but its main purpose is to showcase original live music. It's my weekend local, run by a friendly and enthusiastic family team. Forget any ideas you had about the building's previous incarnations - Jac's is the dog's proverbials. They'll soon be doing food as well. Pool table and TVs in the bar, beer prices below average. Clean toilets, great staff. Did I mention live music?
