I found this a better experience than RAR.New owner took over recently and a warm and friendly welcome he gave me.3 cask beers on and my Westerham beer a sassenach heavy according to the brewer was very good.Prices probably about the same price as they were in 2019.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Bitter End Bar

Only three people at the bar on our Thursday evening visit, all were drinking craft keg. A middle aged barmaid served us and when we asked for a cask ale she didn't really have a clue to what it was or how to pour it from the cask. The cask ales were on stillage behind the bar close to the entrance. The owner came to hand and gave us a detailed description of each beer its colour and floral notes, I nearly started to laugh.
The three ales to choose from were Landlord, Pheasantry Excitra and XT 3. I went for the XT, which was very flat and tasteless. I had heard from hearsay that the bar area smelt a tad musty, the musty smell was coming from a mop that was kept near the beers on stillage, very unhygienic in my opinion. The prices in here were also steep £4.70 for a 4.5% cask ale. The décor was fairly drab with grey walls, laminate flooring and poor lighting.

Frankly disappointing. Seems to be offering too many beers, as our first option was clearly off and was sent back, with the replacement not in great shape either. The ale is kept in jacketed casks behind the bar: a situation which probably didn't help the beer conditioning.

Customers seemed to be regulars, though it seems hard to imagine that crowd increasing by much.

apparently this used to be an off-license by the same name - but it's now a microbar. It promised a lot too, with the gravity dispense real ales and box cider on the bar. I was a little disappointed though. I was hoping for some interesting local brews but the real ales were all standards that I have tasted before - London Pride, Jaipur etc. - rather odd for a place like this and expensive at £5 a pint. Craft keg also available. to be honest the cider is probably the most interesting option here if the beer choice is always like this. The bar was quiet and entirely old/male so the discussions about 'microbars replacing the old pubs' felt a bit off the mark. The plain pub next door was packed with a mixed clientele, but make of that what you will.
