A huge pub. I was told that it was set up American Diner style which despite being a good reason not go, also pushes the 'I hate American nonsense' button. The bar consists of lots of shiny keg taps and a couple of handpulls. Sadly the real ale was off so it was Guinness. Its not for me.

An absolutely huge place with lots of industrial chic around. A real mix of people on our Sunday, late afternoon visit, although it wasn't very busy. We were just calling in for a drink, but most other people were dining. There's several dining areas, one of them raised, but there's plenty of seating for drinkers. My pint was in good nick as well. Lots of people will hate this place, but I didn't mind it at all.

Huge barn of a place , busy on my Saturday afternoon visit , mostly people dining but a few just having a drink .
All life was here from young families with babies , a group of 30 somethings woman banging back the cocktails to pensioners .
3 real ales on , Battlefield Shrew Brew , Warehouse IPA and an OK Salopian Shropshire Gold .
Very noisy in here the size of the room and high ceiling seems to amplify the noise .
Its a bit like a slightly upmarket Wetherspoons.

This ex Argos shop is certainly large enough to be a warehouse or a Wetherspoons. The three sided bar is centrally placed in a huge single room. On entry I was asked if I was intending to eat (no!). The place was very crowded at 6pm on a Friday night with young people, but no diners could be seen. The bar had three handpumps selling Salopian Shropshire Gold, Warehouse IPA and a Christmas Ale. I was not very impressed with the IPA! Cocktails were the order of the day with the bar staff spending a long time preparing drinks that seemed to be 90% ice with a cherry and slice of lemon! Like many pubs in the central hub of Shrewsbury, this is a young persons spot in the evening but probably more "foody" at lunchtimes.
