Modern bar in the Dean Clough complex attracting a younger clientele. Small, oblong shaped interior with bare stone walls and a big railway style backlit sign. Five ales on with four of theirs available, my Porter was wonderful (NBSS 4.5), served-up by friendly black-clad staff. Worthy of a top listing in town as well as its GBG place, I would have stayed for another had I not had more places to get through before closing. 8.5

This one's a bit hard to find as it's in the huge Dean Clough Mill complex. It has the feel of a cellar bar despite being to the ground floor. Very chatty and friendly bar manager and the music was 80's disco, so I had no problem with that. It's a very pleasant and nicely decorated space. 7 handpumps with 5 for ale and 2 ciders with the current and coming soon board on the right hand wall near the bar. My pint of Stod Fold Calypso was in good nick at a very reasonable £3.10 per pint.

Will Larter left this review about Stod Fold Bar

Situated on the right, just past the zebra crossing, if approached from the town centre, the Stod Fold is a ground floor bar with a little seating area in front with some bench tables. Modern furnishing, with kitchen chairs and tables based on scaffolding poles. Old fashioned, treacly MOR sounds were pumping forth from loudspeakers, but the bar was very attractive, with seven hand pumps dispensing two real ciders, four beers from the brewery of the same name and one guest. Service was friendly and welcoming, but I had to escape that bloody awful muzak so took my half of Stod Fold Dark to a bench outside. The beer was in good nick, but I can't see myself returng for further aural assault.
