Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Buyers Club

This place is hidden away down an alleyway, which leads into a small courtyard with open seating. There are a couple of entrances. The one on the left leads into a small dining area, whilst the one on the right leads into the reasonably large bar area.

The bar seems to specialise in wines. But a large blackboard on the opposite wall from the bar lists a large selection of draft beers, of which most are fizzy lagers. Just the one beer attracted our attention. This was Polly's Floret. The last time I came in a couple of months ago, I had walked out again, as there was nothing that could tempt me to stay. This time I was determined to stay for a swift one.

It's a nice enough drinking environment and as craft beers go, £6 for two halves seemed quite reasonable compared with other local craft beer outlets.

By where The Flying Picket was this is a craft beer/cocktail bar hidden down an alleyway and to the right in a courtyard at the side of the Old Blind School building. Its a thin wide bar and sort of trendy. Its a single room and the long bar has no handpumps or beer taps on the counter. There are, however, 8 taps, in two banks of four, on the wall behind dispensing crafty beers. Its not my kinda place but its not bad.
