Old Boots left this review about Howl
Dark, thin place, with the counter on the right with two pulls, an indifferent Taylor's Landlord and a reversed clip, two T-bars of the usuals and keg Hobgoblin singled out for some reason. Obviously I was the oldest in the bar by about forty years. There’s a £5 minimum on cards. Probably best to head for the Templars up the road.

One room place with bar to rear. Two hand pumps with strongest Robinson's Trooper. There are better options round and about.
