Alan Winfield left this review about Friends of Mine

Friends of Mine is a new looking bar and restaurant that is situated on Beckenhams busy High Street.
Once inside there is a decent sized L shaped room which runs to the rear, the front area seems to more of a drinking area, there is bench seating and bucket chairs to the front, the bar in on the mid right side, there are tall tables and chairs opposite the bar,the rear area is set aside for diners.
The pub was almost empty on my Saturday afternoon visit with just a couple of drinkers in the front area.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Goose Island IPA which was expensive and too cold.
The background music was that horrible concept type that i dislike.
This is not really a proper drinking place, but i had a drink here with no problems and the photo is of a proper place and not a building society.
