E TA left this review about Jags@119

A busy corner bar and cafe selling Brewdog beers on draft. The décor is pseudo-1960s, complete with oversize James Dean murals, beer barrels lying randomly around and chrome furniture. Draft beers on were Punk IPA, Brewdog, Dead Pony and Kingpin, while the full range of Brewdog beers in bottles was complemented by bottled Pride, Doombar, Cumberland, Brakspears' Bitter and Boondoggle. Half the pub is the drinkers' bar with some basic tables, bar stools and a couple of sofas, the other slightly raised area has tables for cafe-style diners. Music was in keeping with the décor and possibly a bit too loud for comfort. Staff were less condescending to old (ie over 30) people than expected, while the mostly-student clientèle were actually quite civilised and pleasant. It should be awful, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I liked it in a rather perverse way and would probably drop in again as part of a crawl.
