E TA left this review about At the Chapel

A impressive formal Neo-Gothic chapel building which has been transformed very nicely into a small hotel, restaurant and bar. The bedrooms are upstairs, and the ground floor is mainly a dining room plus a small café and shop. The crypt is now the bar, which in turn leads to a small terrace garden with a view of the countryside behind. The bar furniture is mostly plastic chairs and tables, and not that comfortable in hot weather. The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful, though one female was a bit miserable. The bar ambiance wasn’t great – it lacked atmosphere, and there was overloud music inside. The garden was a better bet. No real ale, just a single keg pilsner and a few bottled ales. Fine for lunch, and I’d be happy to stay here, but it’s not a boozer.

While it is a Jack of all trades to a village for it's facilities it's the master of none to a drinker.

Nothing on draught in any form so I walked out as I only drink in establishments which serve draught pints. The bar resembles a coffee station with a shelf of spirits behind it.

Building is nice and if local you would probably utilise the artisan services in it but it's not really a place for me.
