This is the third Seven Bro7hers outlet I have visited in Manchester. It was busy with a jubilant crowd during a recent sunny Saturday afternoon visit an hour or so before the City v United FA Cup Final kick off. This was being shown via BBC on a television in the bar and in the seating area downstairs. This area had been hired out by some forward thinking individuals. The full range of Seven Bro7hers fizz was available, I went for the decent Watermelon lager which was served by a very friendly barperson. There are three hand pumps on the bar, but these are just for decoration. The mix of banquettes, armchairs, high and normal sized tables were mostly taken, but I did manage to find a small table at the rear where I enjoyed a bit of people watching before moving on. I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit, but I would pop back in if passing.

Called in on 11.8.22 and found a friendly barman with a good choice of craft beers but no cask available. We enjoyed Honeycombe Pale Ale and Hoppy Pale. Quiet but we were early in there. Easy to do with the Northern Quarter bars.

Backsteet brewery bar in the Ancoats area that has a modern, industrial feel.

Seating is over 2 levels. It was fairly busy on our late Sunday afternoon visit.

The bar offers a single cask ale, which was Seven Bro7hers Bread & Butter. There is a much wider keg range, mostly from Seven Bro7hers themselves. This was Pilsner, Chocolate Honeycomb Stout, Easy IPA, Juicy IPA, Hoppy Pale, Honeycomb Pale Ale, Watermelon Wheat, Throwaway IPA, Cast Off Pale, Marmalade West Coast IPA, B'Nananut & Sling It Out Stout. Guest craft beers were Squawk Toco Pale, Big Hug Do Not Disturb & Vocation Gwei Lo.

The cider was Orchard Pig Reveller, whilst they also have a wide selection of cans and bottles in the fridges.

There was certainly a lively atmosphere in here and the 3 beers I tried were all pretty decent. Certainly a bar I would consider returning to.

Paid another visit on Saturday evening. No mad crowds at the bar so service was fairly swift, although the place was busy with no seats available in the main bar, which led us to investigate downstairs, where there is indeed a further seating area (plus the toilets).

At the bar, strangely they had none of their own beers on cask, with the three hand pulls all offering guest ales. I went for the Haze of Thunder by Brew York, which was £4 a pint, which didn't seem over the top (especially having just come from the Edinburgh Castle). There are plenty of keg taps including many of their own beers.

No complaints, but an occasional visit is enough.

A fairly trendy looking bar. Prices are more in line with a trendy bar than a "brewery tap" but don't remember the cask beers being extortionate - but maybe I used alcohol to numb the pain and I have simply forgotten.

Busy on both Saturday evenings when I have been in, but we found seating on both occasions. Not ventured down to the lower level but it looks like there is some seating down there. When you enter you come up a small set of stairs to what is effectively a mezzanine level I suppose. Only two hand pulls offering cask, one was something we had had previously and the other was Peach, a peachy tasting pale ale. Unusual but definitely peachy.

I'd happily pay a return visit. My only complaint was that service was a bit slow, and one woman who may or may not have pushed in had all her mates pile on with drinks orders once she got served, which was a bit annoying.

A two storey brewery bar with a fairly bare room upstairs with the same downstairs apart from a few comfy chairs. Only 3 of us in the whole place at 4 on a Friday, so no atmosphere at all. It's mainly high tables and stools, but there are some standard dining tables and chairs as well. Three handpumps on the bar serving Seven Bro7hers Session, a collaboration brew with Lees and a new 6% stout. I ordered a pint of Session and was charged a rip off £4.50 for a 3.8% beer. No wonder it's empty! Not the best brewery tap I've ever been in.

Maybe Ive just had a bad experience but this place isn't particularly good. It has all the ingredients to be great, a brewery tap selling their own beers, a trendyish area, its better than its immediate neighbour and... well that's it. Sadly the beer is awful. 3 handpumps to the side of the bar dispense 3 varieties of vinegar with the keg fonts dispensing... who cares? I'd gone. For the record the place is on 2 floors at least and the main area is open plan. Go somewhere else.

Situated on Cutting Room square Ancoats new craft beer bar opened in mid December by the Se7en Brothers Brewery. The industrial looking bar is up a few steps where there is adequate random wooden seating and a few Chesterfields.
There is an in house Micro Brewery and 7 varieties of craft ale to choose from.Downstairs there is another seating area with high chairs and tables and a few more leather seats.
Most of the ale on tap is £2.50p for 330ml but there is a good range of imported bottles and spirits.
