The best pub that I could visit. The bar is down the left hand side with four real ales, two unclipped. Craft ales on the wall.

A micropub in the Teesside model as it has background music and ten keg taps on the bar back as well as four hand pulls on the counter. Otherwise the usual shop conversion giving a long, thinnish space with a laminated floor, the counter is to one side seating at tables and chairs to the other. The walls are bare brick some painted, there is some interesting animal sculpture artwork. The only food I saw were pork pies and there's the ubiquitous Edison lamps over the counter. The fridges have a reasonable bottled selection . Pleasant chatty barman and nicely kept beer.
