Only an eight minute train journey from Manchester Piccadilly Train station. The layout comprised of some timber frame bench seating along the front window and down the left hand side giving enough space for three small tables and chairs. The bar area on the right had a counter made up from some paving stones and a marine ply cladded bar front. There was an ample supply of steel painted bar stools in greys and yellow. There was also some further seating down the back of the pub, with a sunflower patterned wallpapered feature wall. Three handpumps on the bar, serving Neptune Ezili, Track Sonama and Ridgeside Milky Joe Stout. We tried all three ales and all of which were in top notch condition. There was also a choice of 8 keg beers served from taps behind the bar. Our fellow drinkers along with the barmaid, were all friendly and chatty.

A newly opened micropub very close to Burnage railway station which was useful on my Friday evening visit as I would have missed my train if it had been any further away as I was chatting in here.

It's converted shop premises as usual. The bar is on the right hand side and there's racking holding bottled beer on the left. There's a couple of tables in the alcove to the rear and that's about it. It feels very new and on my visit out of the 7 or 8 other customers, at least 4 of them appeared to be involving in the running of the pub in one way or another. There are 3 handpulls on the bar and a number of craft keg taps on the back wall. It's all very friendly and it was easy to get talking. It's a little bare at the moment, but I'm sure that over time assorted bric-a-brac will start appearing. I enjoyed my visit here and will happily visit again next time I'm in the area. I missed out on the 10% CAMRA discount as WhatPub didn't even have the pub listed. But as one of the owners bought me a half of the Five Points Porter I didn't really miss out. It's a bit of a beer desert around here, so I wish them all the best for getting this place up and running.
