Steve C left this review about The Artillery Arms
The Artillery Arms is a small pub next to the entrance of the Royal Marines Stonehouse Barracks. It is a small single room pub with a bar on the rear wall that supports premium keg alongside three hand pumps. One was being pulled through, but the two in operation were drawing South Hams Brewery’s Eddystone and Bass. In the left wall is a stone fireplace with burner, and exposed stone and wood panelling are found throughout. The windows are leaded, but there is no age to them. Above the entrance is a television that was off and some low background music played. On the ceiling are lines with little cut out paper monkeys and a sign that says ‘Go Monkey Go’. I didn’t ask what it was, but I reckon there’s been some crazy goings on in here over the years. The service was polite, but this pub is a little too far off the beaten track to warrant a revisit.
