Another newish micro on the strip. Usual oblong interior, with dark green on one side and exposed brick on the other with an interesting block wood bar back. Three cask dispensing local beers I'd never heard of and a slab of craftykeg. My Turning Point Minimal Water Damage was a little flat but drinkable (NBSS 2.5). Quiz on the go, which looked like fun, I happened to drop in when they were trying to bounce a ping-pong ball into a pint glass. 6.5

Exactly as described by OB below and also pretty busy on our Saturday, late afternoon visit. Luckily we managed to get the last table as there's not much standing room available. My pint of Turning Point was in very good nick. Another good addition to the North Parade attractions.

Someone here must be a fan or perhaps just a reader of Pubs Galore as a list of opening hours has appeared on the door, very useful in a street of bars with rather erratic and changeable opening hours. Post pandemic things are still weird of course. Bench seating down one side with a mix of wooden tables, opposite has tables with stools, upholstered benches, art work and a biggish screen. The counter is still across the rear with 7 keg taps on a T-Bar plus a Paulaner ceramic tap of three parts. There’s also two new hand pulls, one from Turning Point and the other from Shadow Brewing, don’t get your hopes up I heard Bradfield mentioned as coming next, however supporting small Yorkshire breweries is a good thing. I can’t complain about the beer quality either. There’s a laser display screen at right angles to the counter, so not visible until you’re at the counter and can see the pumps anyway.

Was going to visit last Friday, but the door sign said "Closed" - despite Google and WhatPub showing the pub as opening at 12 on Friday (I was there around 2:30pm). Unfortunately their own Facebook page doesn't list their opening hours! There was a chap sat in there (presumably the owner) but when I walked past later on the shutters were half way down. Whether they had an issue that meant they were unable to open, or whether the opening times are incorrect, I have no idea. Come on guys, it doesn't take much to put your opening hours on your Facebook page.

There was a chalkboard in the window to tease me with a beer menu that was unobtainable, however it did list a couple of interesting looking cask beers so will definitely be worth investigating again, another time.

30 North, as was, reopened 11th September 2020 as the Boar & Fable, a self-styled 'continental bier cafe'. Three ales are available on hand-pull.

Reopening soon (early 2020), as the third bar under the control of the owners of the Peacock Bar opposite and in Bingley.

One real ale which wasn't able to be pulled through. Seven kegs but nothing special.

A single room conversation with 7 draught kegs plus bottles (not exciting ones) at the rear counter. The single IPA among a sea of lagers was from Franciscan Well in Ireland and not too cold or fizzy. It's a pleasant enough place if a little bland with a bench all down one side with a few chairs & tables in the middle and on the other side of the single room. The windows say it sells cocktails wines and craft lagers however it was deadly quiet but with nice staff. Next door to the long established Sparrow.
