UPDATE
They now seem to have extended into the retail unit on the left, which, down a step, is accessed either side of the shelves and fridges, contains more seating in communal bench style and a pizza kitchen where you can order to eat-in or take away. Well populated on this weeknight visit, a pint of Mad Squirrel Berkhopsted, a pale ale, was decent as you'd expect, and a steal at £3.20. A 6.5, but rounded up to 7 as we don't do halves on this site.

Another retail unit conversion by the brewery, this one in a parade of shops on what is, in essence, Amersham New Town's High Street, this is in a similar guise to the others in the locality albeit on a smaller scale. Glass-fronted and bare-boarded floor, shelves to the left heave with bottles and cans with two fridges full of chilled versions beyond. Bench and tables seating is available to the right, with the small bar beyond against the right-hand wall with the usual combination of cask and keg options: the majority being from Red Squirrel as you'd imagine. A handful of bar snacks are available as well as some wine and soft drinks for variety. A nice world map of hop varieties hung on the wall above the seating, and a requisite young, bearded barman meant most boxes were ticked on this visit.
