Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Broadacre B&B

Mainly a small B&B hotel, but it has a comfortable little bar open to all (accessed via an anonymous side gate at the left-hand end of the building) and a leafy beer garden. Youngs Special and English Bitter from the local Hopfuzz brewery (£4.20). NB - Open evenings only, apart from noon on Saturday.

When somewhere is labelled as a B&B you might expert the "bar" to be a small waiting area near reception, but that wasn't the case here. The bar here is a single room on the left of the building, which can be accessed through a door on the left, next to the large garden, without having to walk through the hotel area. It is, of course, open to non-residents. The room was very simple, being carpeted and with handful or so of normal tables and chairs, but when we were in there was a half dozen or so locals perched on stools at the bar, with another couple of hotel guests at one of the other tables. There was an unusual matchboard paneled ceiling, and decor consisted of toby jugs, china plates on the wall, and (empty) bottles of upmarket malt whiskies on a small shelf. It struck me as very friendly local, and being in a backstreet it probably didn't get many tourists other than those who were staying there.

There were two ales on - Young's Bitter and Special - plus a third handpump unclipped. In this part of the world it seems that Young's isn't a regularly seen beer. I saw no sign of food.

This is a friendly and comfortable locals' pub. I wouldn't really go out of my way for Young's ales as we get them regularly in London, and while a decent drink they're nothing special, but nevertheless I quite liked this little bar and would be happy to visit again.
