Komakino . left this review about George Street Social
Occupying a corner plot along Oxford's busy George Street and offering brunch, light bites and cocktails, it predictably offers craft keg, with Beavertown Neck Oil, XT3 IPA, Loose Cannon Pilsner, Amstel Lager and something called George Street Cloudy Cider as well as a range of craft cans from usual suspects. Exposed ductwork on the ceiling recalls London's The Lexington, and the walls are a mix of plain tiles and distressed wood decorated with breweriana, and a 'distressed' polished stone floor. Muzak was funky (think The Caesars' "Jerk It Out") although a little on the overloud side as you'd imagine. There is also an unexplored upstairs. There are worse places in Oxford, but unfortunately for this place, better ones too.
