Will Larter left this review about Wath Tap

Probably the best of the five micropubs we visited on our tour of this part of South Yorkshire. We received a friendly greeting from all when we entered, and were made to feel very welcome. The bar still features six hand pumps, with two porters and the rest at the golden end of the spectrum. Six different brewers were represented, mostly local or local-ish. All the beers we had were in good condition, though the Welbeck Abbey Fire Dog porter was a little tired. Would we return? Well, not at the drop of a hat, given the logistics of the journey, but yes - why not?

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Wath Tap

Micro-pub in a parade of small shops, with the limited amount of seating in the square bar supplemented by a few stools in the rear corridor and a few metal tables out front. Six interesting real ales on handpump, ranging in styles from the golden Three Brothers 'Au' (£2.80) to the White Rose Raven stout. As you would expect, the place was full to bursting on a Friday evening.

A new pub that welcomes you as if you have been a regular for years, serves excellent real ale, with a good selection, mainly from Yorkshire, also draught lager, wine and cider. The pub has just been awarded Rotherham Camra,s Pub of the season summer 2016.
