The Beachhouse is a bar and cafe located adjacent to the beach on Lower Parade. The service counter is strewn with cakes, pastries, cookies and, one of my personal favourites, doughnuts. During my visit on Sunday afternoon most customers were taking advantage of the decked seating area on the beach whilst drinking tea or coffee. There were a few who were enjoying a pint of Peroni, but the draught Guinness was less popular in the midday sun. Bottled beers are also available.
As beach bars go this place is quite relaxing and the decked area is more comfortable than the pebbles.
