Steve C left this review about Crown Point Tavern

Crown Point Tavern is a micropub with café furniture outside on the edge of Jubilee Square. The small rectangular interior has green banquettes down the side walls, a dartboard in the left wall with an oche along the front windows and a small bar counter in the right rear corner. Televisions throughout were showing muted cricket on Sky Sports and the only person in, discounting the friendly barmaid, was controlling the music with a tablet device. The bar supports three premium keg and one of the six handpumps was unused which left Thornbridge’s Jaipur, 4Ts Brewery’s Stout, Oakham’s Citra, Wensleydale’s Original Sin and Stockport Brewery’s Crown Best Bitter. There was no atmosphere, but I still liked it in here and would return.

Situated in a prime position on Denton's market square this fine micropub seemed larger inside than what i expected. There are also 2 seating areas outside (One at each side of the road) that can seat around 35. All the 6 cask beers were local and found the Milk Chocolate Porter from the Stockport Brewing Co spot on.

An excellent micropub and by far your best bet for real ale in Denton. 6 handpumps on the bar and a number of ciders hidden somewhere. Beers today were from Hammerton, Tiny Rebel, Great Heck, Bristol Beer Factory and Hardknott breweries. There are 3 tellies and piped music so for you lot who don't like that kind of stuff then beware. A comfortable little pub.
