E TA left this review about Old Bicycle Shop

Previously a bicycle shop (the clue is in the name), this modern pub/bistro consists of a full-depth single bar with tables for diners and a few bar stools for drinkers. The walls are adorned with various cycling bric-a-brac which doesn’t really add anything other than clutter and is a bit naff. The menu is quite modern, but it certainly wasn’t cheap – neither was the beer, at around 25% more expensive than other nearby pubs. The food also smelled very strong, and for that reason was unappetising. The staff were unengaging and unhelpful. Ales on were Nobby’s Monster Mash, Markham Golden Goose IPA and Adnams Southwold. There was also Rosie’s Pig, both on draught and boxed. I had a pint of Monster Mash, which was in good condition, but at their prices I wasn’t prepared to have any more, and I shan’t be recycling here.
