Old Boots left this review about The Beach House

Very much a cafe bar, restaurant style table service but you can just have a beer if any of the five fairly ordinary kegs or the bottles appeal to you. The interior is done out like a beach hut, lots of mainly rough wood and some reed matting as a wall covering. The counter is festooned with fairy lights and there’s a sprinkling of beach themed signs about the place. The square area at the front leads to a corridor like part with a couple of tables then some low seating booths, this is where the tanning booths are too! Yes the beach theme extends to getting a tan. Friendly enough but certainly not a pub and “bar” might be pushing it at lunchtime but perhaps not in the evening.
