The inclusion of the words "Sports and Music Bar," after the pub name on the sign outside, should have forewarned me that this was likely to be a bit loud and rowdy on a Saturday night. And so it proved, with lots of drunk people about, but its proximity to Kilmarnock Railway Station made it a convenient place for a quick pint, so I stayed for one anyway. Fortunately, the Karaoke scheduled for later hadn't yet started or it would have been even louder. A pint of Fosters lager cost me £3 and Tennent's and Heverlee lagers, Belhaven Best and Strongbow cider were also on draught. It's a nice enough looking pub inside and probably a lot more pleasant outwith weekends when it's likely to be quieter.
