A terraced self-styled cafe-bar, with a predominantly glass frontage. It has two floors, is in grey wood and dark red, and stuffed with eclectic art and ephemera. I find this place friendly and has a broad clientele base - appealing to young and old. No TV or music, apart from the din that filters in from the Pig & Truffle over the road (sadly detracting from the experience). Four real ales, ever changing, with craft and quality continental lagers. Always worth a visit.

Interesting place. A micropub as far as I am concerned but you could call it a café bar, bistro or coffee shop if you want - it makes no real difference! Excellent beer and service so it will do for me!

When is a micropub not a micropub? When (like this one) the people running it prefer it to be known as a "Continental Style Cafe Bar". For anyone who doesn't like that the Whippet Inn micropub is next door and there are three pubs across the street.
As noted below this is a roughly square shop conversion with arguably more cosy furnishings and feel than some "official" micropubs. There are no TVs, music or gaming machines, so what are the main differences between this and a declared micropub? I would say it's that they don't cater for real cider and I suspect their coffee is a better quality offering but I won't be trying out coffees in micropubs to validate that! There was a fair crowd of largely older folk in on my early Tuesday afternoon visit.
There are four hand pumps which had Dancing Duck Waddle It Be, Fyne Jarl, Exit 33 Azacca IPA and Derby All Ryed Out. I went for the Azacca IPA (£3.60) completely forgetting about the CAMRA discount. It was in good nick.
Whatever it calls itself this one is well worth a visit and is GBG 2018 listed.

Surprisingly, I loved this place. More of a Beer Cafe than a micro pub. The blueprint could be future of public boozing.

Great staff - friendly, knowledge and clearly love their job. A wide array of belgian and german beers on draught and bottles - with some British Classics too.

This was my first pint of Jaipur.

Wonderful place. All cities should have one.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Beerbohm

'Not a micro pub' says the 'A'-frame board outside (apparently on the grounds that they sell tea and "barista coffee" too), but it is really, and a decent one at that. Attractive square-ish bar with a small counter and mostly breweriana for decor. Also has an upstairs lounge of about equal size. Four real ales on handpump in a mixture of styles, and my pint of Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout (£3.20) was first class. The bottle fridge was also full of interesting beers.

Continental style Belgium bar opened in December of last year and is proving to be a big hit in Lichfield Town Centre. We found this bar to have good atmosphere and also the service was excellent. The interior consists of a moderately sized ground floor room, with the bar area over to the right, along the opposite wall was leather bench seating with ample tables and chairs. There was also some window seating. Walls were painted in a deep purple colour and huge gilt mirrors added more finesse.
There was another good sized room on the first floor, which was similar in décor to downstairs. There were four ales on handpump on our visit, so we went for Great Newsome Sleck Dust, which was in top condition. There was also a good selection of Belgium beers on tap and I also tried one of them. A good bar this one, so well worth checking out.
