Alan Winfield left this review about Biblos on the Hill

Biblos on the Hill is just up from Zazu's Kitchen.
Once inside there is a small single oblong shaped room with the bar to the rear right, the room is bare boarded, there are normal tables and chairs in the middle of the room and a wood bench seat on the left side, this had leather pads on it to make it more comfortable.
There is an open kitchen to the rear.
All tables were laid out for diners, but i asked if i could sit at one and was told by a friendly bar lady that i could sit anywhere.
There are no real ales on the bar which was no surprise,i had a drink of Becks Lager which was pretty tasteless.
Not my sort of place, but in my mission to do all pubs and bars on the Gloucester Road it had to be done.
